Gargantuan White Dragon!

Its actual name was Ingeloakastimizilian, Icingdeath is just how the tundra barbarians called it. Since your average tundra barbarian probably never saw icing on a cake, they wouldn't know icingdeath isn't the same as icydeath or freezingdeath. :p

This reminds me of Stanlay the Tool.

I doubt that this will open the way to orcs-by-the-dozen packs. I guess the other iconics might include some extra figures in the future, much like this, but they won't go crazy about it, and they won't put out dozens of packs each year.

But it was impossible! Absolutely unthinkable! And anyone who doubted that just didn't understand the nature of the business.

;)

Um, there is nothing about this that disproves our earlier discussions about minis. If you think 3 minis for $50 meets either cheap or wide variety, you have a vastly different definition of those two terms than I do. They've said they'll do 2 icons a year going forward. That will hardly sate most people's appetite for a wide vareity of monsters/figures. $16.66 per mini also hardly counts as inexpensive, when I can get a McFarlane dragon for $19.99. So, this actually proves our earlier discussions true - if you want non-random minis, they'll be expensive, and there won't be many of them.

I say, who cares...Drizzt Do`Uden is the worst Fantasy creation ever as well as everyother bad character that R.A Salvatore spits out every few months for those who like Pulp Fantasy to read.

Thems is fightin' words, bucko.

Okay, so, if you were talking about Cadderly and the whole sorry lot of the Cleric Quintet, I'd have to agree with you... but lay off my bruda Drizzt.

To Tyler: Cadderly rocks! :)

To the other guy: I'm sorry I don't count myself as a "fanboi" but Salvatore is my favorite author. It really is different strokes for diffrent folks, ya know? No need to be such a jerk about it though. You have your opinion, which you are entitled to, but seriously take a step off your high horse and quit stoking peoples emotions. :)

I am excited for this set. I don't have the Archfiends Drizzt and I'd like one to sit on my shelf next to Artemis AND I get the White Dragon, yay!

I don't want to have to get rid of him; I don't want him in the first place. I was able to get rid of my Archfiends version for a pretty tidy sum; this one won't be worth nearly as much, so it won't be worth the trouble. I already have a half-dozen or so Barbarian Mercenaries from Dragoneye, so my generic wannabe-Conan needs are already met, too.

Seems like you should just hold off buying it and see if you get can the dragon alone on e-bay. Works out best for everyone.

I hear you can buy a sense of humor on eBay for real cheap, nowadays.

That's the problem with the internet, you can never tell (well sometimes you can't) peoples' intentions.

Clearly I misunderstood.

That aside, I'm not real interested in this. I think the black was too expensive, now they want to charge more than the Blue! Drizz't in another pose but with the same skirmish stats is just another Drow to me. I really hope mr barbarian is not a great tourney piece in DDM. I also hope they move these to huges with 4-6 other minis, I just don't need 1 each of the gargantuan chromatics.

I got the red from Buy.com and it was cheaper than Amazon.com. Got free shipping on it too. Amazon says that the Red isn't available for free s&h and costs an extra $1.60.

$47.24 vs $52.49 + $1.60?

I know where I'm glad I ordered from.
