Garnering Interest - PA Game Day

I live in the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton area of PA. It is located about dead center between the NY and NJ borders. It is also an area heavy on history, a boom town in the hayday of coal, a central stop on the vaudville tours of old. Hudini actually made his home in Scranton. It's also a hop, skip, and a jump from the resorts in the poconos.

Anyway, I would like to organize a game day here and I thought I would start by garner interest on the boards.

So if you live close enough to attend a game day in this area post and let me know.

That's awesome, I just moved up here from the Burg a little over a year ago, after graduating from E.S.U.

Could you get me a possible head count?

I grew up in the Allentown area, went to CCHS and then Penn State, and now work at PSU in State College. Wilkes Barre area is only a couple of hours away, so I may be able to bring a few folks if something like this materializes. I can also place an ad for it down at the FLGS when it becomes certain, if you like. I'm not sure how many local people are into the live thing, seems that the kids today are more into the video thing than when I was a PSU student in the late 80s (I know, I know).

As much as I like WB, it's up in a corner which limits participation considering the average drive from any other 'city' in PA is 2+ hours.

If it were someplace evenly central (Harrisburg/State College) it might garner more interest.
