[Gen Con 04] The Insane Game - Updated 8/15/03!

Yea, I was thinking that each "table" would consist of the members of a various group (i.e. the Thieve's Guild) and would have a specific goal in mind which fit in nicely with the overall story arc of the entire game. This would make the job of that table's DM relatively easy - DONT GET OFF TRACK. ;) Anything else that happened therein would just be gravy....

:D

But more on that later.... ;)

this sort of thing might be a bit much to plan and run, but i'm in for whatever sort of game may happen. :)

While I don't know if I'd be up to DMing in something like this, I'll certainly help out in whatever way I can to prepare in advance or help run it. Add me in as a volunteer to do whatever.

I think trying to get into subplots and side-plots might be too complex. I think just having multiple battle mats of orcs with each table having its own problems to deal with would be manageable. Like I said, you would have one main DM organizing the whole event to keep track of the rounds. That would be easier to handle that way.

i would love to dm a group, but will do anything required ot make it work.

(put me down for giving a prize of some sort too :))

Hey, here's an idea:

We could play a _huge_ game of Amber. Nothing like 150+ people blind voting to see who's got the best strength. And, best of all, there are no dice to roll -- all the DMs can decide the victors by committee.

*No. I'm not insane. I'm not serious, either. Simple is good.
