It was bananas.
Even finding a place to sit took forethought. “Look…I think these people are leaving their spot on the floor…”
I am aging and beer ravaged but have a standing desk and am active. I was fine and ready for more.
But if you have kids or as we did, some people in less than great shape…it can be pretty punishing given the crowds.
If it keeps growing it will simply stop being pleasant at all.
They have huge spaces for gaming. If the hall is the draw and money maker they may need to reallocate some space. But then many come to play specifically. In Milwaukee and later at gen con I would get I. Tournaments.
They have a lot of space it’s true but spread out. I found it hard to navigate. A learn to play D&D even for my kid was like a mile away. It was nuts!we ended up taking our hotel lobby over for some old fashioned theater of the mind D&D
Good times but gotta wonder for how long. It seems like it’s on the edge already.
