GenCon 2005: Are you going?

I listed "Maybe". I have tried to go for the last two years, but something always comes up at work that keeps me from going. Last year another supervisor got accepted to some special training out of state, and guess who got to cancel their vacation to cover shift.

Hope springs eternal. I will try again to make it this year to my first convention. Wish me luck.

Just not a fan of cons anymore. Too crowded for my tastes. Anymore, I am just happy to game with known buddies and not be told about past characters from game systems I have never played by total strangers.

Went in 2003, and had an amazing time. I very much missed going this year.

I'll be there. Just went on Saturday this past year, plan on hitting all four days this year. Can't wait! Oh and I'll be hitting Origins too.

I might come for a day, see the sights. I don't generally play at conventions, so ultimately I come to see certain people, see the exhibition hall, maybe attend a seminar or two. But I'm a "maybe" for now.

wow - starts the day after our second anniversary. don't think that will be a conflict... but just to be on the safe side, i might as well just take (most of?) the week off, to get some quality time in before the con.

Mrs. BOZ may not make it this year (what, with teh baybay arriving in May), but hopes to at least come up for one day.
