Yes there was. You just had to be there. It's very clear in my memory now that you've reminded me. I can picture the location and hear the sound of the pipes.
I think that Saturday there was a tornado not far from the Con site (and real close to the campground where my friends and I camped out. I cannot -believe- I once stayed in a tent at GenCon.
I also went to my first GenCon in '78.
