[GenCon] Checking in from the Front/First Impressions

Wow, the con is a blast! I'm having the time of my life. It is nowday two at the convention for me. Day one was wednesday setup day. I spent most of the day in and out of the exibition hall setting up stuff with chris and denise ad hound (who are all great people, an the gelflings adorable).

I got set up with the RPGA to DM 4 slots (THANKS PIRATE CAT i had the time of my life).


Today was day one of the con. I showed up in the hall 20 min early and got a great start on babes of gencon. As soon as the hall officially opened i made all my purchases. 3.5, scourge of te worlds, Stargaet sg1, Arcna Unearthed, Dragonlance (for a friend), BOEF preview (for a friend). I met all the greats today.

Weis and Hickman. Eric Boyd, Monte, Andy Collins, Ed Stark, Rich Baker, Elaine Cunningham, ED GREENWOOD! and much much more. like MR Valtera and other.

tommorow more. Enneies, more DMING, more people. by th way, the Ennies are ready to go....see ya tommorow!

I was wondering why the Castle was absent. Oh, well. Maybe they can haul it down there in time for next year's GenCon, and find permanent storage for it.

I'll merge this thread with Cthulhu Librarian's (good to meet you, BTW!) to keep things cleaner.

Thanks for the updates. If someone would be kind enough to report on the status of the registration lines for Friday I would appreciate it.

Please, someone reassure me that the glitches will be worked out by Sat. when I can get my stupid, non-pre-reg butt down there.
