That's what "will call" means, I believe. Of course, if everyone who pregreg-ed has to use just one window, that won't be pretty. Hopefully they'll have a lot of people on hand at the will call window(s?).

My experience with Will Call at concerts has ranged from easy and painless to a single window with an unbelievably long line lasting 4 hours while we waited for the tickets to be delivered. I've no idea what to expect at GenCon, so I'm preparing for the worst with the hope that it will be better.

According to the Gen Con website the Will Call will be open from 2pm-9pm on Wednesday night.

    Does anyone know how buying the generic tickets work? My friends and I could not coordinate preregistering, so we are going the generic ticket route... Oh, and we are GenCon newbies, so any info would be appreciated...

Got mine

As for generic tickets, it's quite simple. There is a booth to buy them at, then you just take your schedule of events you want to try to get into and show up. If there is room, the one running the event with take your generic tickets instead. If not, you are SOL =/. You can also register for events onsite, you don't have to pre-register for them

Mine arrived over the weekend. Odd story -- I attached a cord to it and set it aside. Later, I picked it up for some reason (I think I was going to move it somewhere safe) but got distracted -- and a few minutes later I found myself walking around my house with my badge on. I have no idea when I put it on. I'm such a geek!

    If you register onsite, I assume they have the most up to date numbers for registration limits (i.e. how many people are registered and how many people the game can hold)? If we do not register there, what are the chances that we will be able to get into some games with the generic tickets? I really have no idea how full the various games get.
    Also, how do the games and events work if you just want to watch? For instance, I'd like to see some of the Mage Knight World Championships. I don't have to pay to just watch them, do I?
