Ironically, I don't remember hearing it all that often when I lived in College Station, but yeah, I think the point is, the weather changes, nobody's very good at predicting it, and saying like that all over the world is the result. ;)
 

That's all well and good for the outdoors. Now for the forcast that really counts:

In the convention center: crowded and smelly!

Yeah, we have that up here in Seattle. And we had that in Dallas, Texas too. It seems to hold more in texas in the fall and spring, and here it is more of a non summer saying.

NOTE: The summers in the Seattle are absolutley horrible, NEVER come here in the summer, the best time to visit is between october and april, preferably mid December. (this message has been brought to you by the Reduce Immigration to Seattle Foundation.) ;)
