Saw clarification on twitter that ravenloft can be played stand-alone, or as an expansion to D&D.

Well, if it's more of a "tool kit" for fantasy horror/dark fantasy, then it probably should include rules for supernatural monster PCs.

But I can already do that in and with other games I prefer to 4e.

Emphasis mine.

Monster PCs in Ravenloft? If that's true, that's a radical change from previous versions of the setting, where evil acts corrupted PCs until they were damned by the Mists (and taken from play as NPCs).

I just hope the vampires don't "sparkle" too. B-)
Who's to say PCs don't get damned still, and removed from play if they become Darklords?

Don't know if this was mentioned already.

From Sean K(ing) reynolds--Ultimate Magic (working title) for PF supplements.

From Erik (The Prince) Mona--Ultimate Combat (working title) 'same effect'

Description--Both themes will cover different new feats, magic, and items across the PF world from different cultures.

Subject to change.

(This was a direct conversation from both)
