4. Heck, any Arcana Unearthed stuff I can get my grubby little paws on.

5. Dice, dice, dice! Crystal Caste, you're mine!

6. Running a psycho-funny game.

7. Running a not-so-psycho but still fun game.

8. People watching!

9. Spending more money than I should be allowed.

10. Spending other people's money!

GenCon is my favourite thing all year. All of the FDP boys get so energized by the environment, and we come home with a million new ideas and the energy to make them.

I look forward to seeing Claudio and his wife for a few days. And Monte and Sue, and the friends we've made from Green Ronin, Necromancer, Sword & Sorcery, MEG, and others...

Always look forward to hooking up with Piratecat and Mearls...

And just seeing all of the people that I only see once a year.

And spending more money than I should on games. And booze.

And desperately trying to cram a million books into one single carry-on bag for the trip back home.

15 days. I can't wait.

Its the 11 year Im on vacation on my BDay, and the fourth convention on my Bday. I so love fresh traditions

Looking forward to:

1) Standing in line for xxxHours because the moron administrators once again couldn't undertake a task with a skill level greater than that which a 4-year old could handle - pre-reg ticketing in the mail.

2) Being placed in close proximity with people of such ilk that have not discovered the benefits of deoderant/antiperspirant.

3) Booth babes who REALLY shouldn't be wearing a catsuit/chainmail bikini.

4) Guys in kilts. 'nuff said.

5) Seeing another incarnation of chess: 5-D Chess!, Robo Chess! Rock star chess!

Ok. . .that feels better now I got that off my chest

2. Getting to see all my MEG friends again (yes, even MEG Hal)

3. Picking up some new products

4. Talking to people about Artificer's Handbook, and maybe signing a few copies.

5. Running some MEG events.

6. Visiting Indianapolis, and learning my way around the new convention center.

The thing I think I look most forward to is the rush...the exhilaration...that comes when the doors to the Dealer Area finally opens.

I get so giddy at that moment...everyone gnawing at the bit to go give people money...waiting to see what surprises await...

2 weeks.

Can't wait.
