GENCON: Where are you staying?

I've got a room reserved at the Hampton Inn. Best Western was full, and Embassy Suites had no more double beds. I'm not paying $304 a night at the Marriot.

Westin. Due to the fact that I was able to get my pass into my "shopping cart" before the GenCon registration system went toes-up yesterday afternoon, I was able to go back in this morning and complete my registration. That yielded a passcode for the hotel system, and I was able to reserve a double room at the Westin (4 people) for $169 a night.

Nope, there are still lots of rooms available at the Best Western if you book directly with them. I just checked, and they have 4 different room options available.

Ok, now that is weird. I checked last night at home, and it showed "no availability" when I looked. It must have been a system glitch or something. But you're right, it's available today. So, I've reserved at Best Western. I'll cancel my Hampton Inn reservation.

So, did you book a room or a suite? If you got a suite, did you get the refrigerator/microwave or the hottub?

The room (1 king 1 queen [which I assume means either/or] / 2nd bed is a sofa bed). I'm planning on finding someone to share it with me. All the ones with suites just have a single bed.
