GENCON: Where are you staying?

The room (1 king 1 queen [which I assume means either/or] / 2nd bed is a sofa bed). I'm planning on finding someone to share it with me. All the ones with suites just have a single bed.

Although having a jacuzzi in the room would be sweet. Maybe I could see if the wife wants to go. :) Not sure she'd want to hang out in Indianapolis for 4 days.

The suites have a sofa bed, but they don't list it for some reason.

Odd. Well, that's ok. This one was the cheaper option, and it's not like I'm going to be spending any real time in there. Assuming there is ice available, I don't really need the refrigerator, and the jacuzzi is just gonna take time away from the really important tasks - like gaming and perusing the dealer floor!

I'll be staying home. Of course, it's only 15 minutes from the Convention Center, so I'm still coming to Gen Con. :)

If I had a bigger house, I'd rent out rooms. I wonder if I could turn my basement into a Flop House?

Embassy Suites for me and the SWRPGNetwork crew. Damn good hotel, and the brisk morning walk to the convention center always made sure I was awake and had the blood pumping.

There was nothing quite like running a Mutants and Masterminds game for JD Wiker, Christopher West, and Marc Schmalz only to look up and see Teflon Billy running something a couple of tables over, and then see another group of ENWorlders sit down a few tables away to talk. Damn the bar area of the Embassy Suites rocked.

The last two years my buddies and I have stayed at the Adams Mark (now Sheraton IIRC), mainly because the rooms were HUGE and afforded us a fantastic end of day gaming area. This year, we've booked ourselves two rooms at the Embassy Suites, mainly because it's a block-and-a-half closer to the Convention Center and the free breakfast and happy hour ain't too bad either ;).

FWIW, anyone who has attended either of the first two Columbus or Detroit Gamedays will know a few of the folks in my crew. And we've extended an offer to crash on the sofa/sleepers to Joshua Dyal and Stockdale should they choose to make the trip.

See you all there!!

That would have been Teflon Billy teaching me, Stone Angel, and someone else how to play Pirates of the Spanish Main. We were looking over at your table saying "Hey, isn't that JD Wiker and the rest of The Game Mechanics playing Mutants & Masterminds? Cool! The Embassy Suite bar is great!" :D
