I'm just looking through the GenConUK website, and figured I should make sure I tell everyone some of the stuff that's there, in order to encourage the ENWorld UK contingent to show up and enjoy it!

Firstly, the cost is a measly £25 that covers all four days...and the Hilton hotel is literally two minutes walk away for accomodation. I think they have a deal with them (sorry, I haven't looked since I live in London and am planning simply to journey across town to get there).

Secondly, they actually have some pretty decent guests. Margaret Weiss, Todd Lockwood and Jonathan Tweet, amongst others.

They also have a forum that seems very concerned with answering any problems anyone may have (I'm registered as Tallarn).

So come on, ENWorld, show some life and get yourself to London on the 18th-21st of April (that's a friday through to a monday).

I am still contemplating. I might go for two days only and skip one night of sleep instead. I couldn't do that for two nights anymore. I am not as young as I used to be. These rickety 23 year old bones need a rest every now and then.

However this year I really have loads of school work on my A levels (have to get good grades) so I don't think I can go.

BUT...

Nope cos my teachers always predict me higher grades than I actually get and I need AABB to get my university offer, plus it is sort of an excuse since its only a few days but it's right when I should be doing most revision
