GenConUK

Okay ... overwhelmed by the goodwill and promises of late night card games, I've made the decision to go for a couple of days. Presume that plans will be made to meet up at some point for a game. Looking forward to seeing you all ... and being totally confused when you all look nothing like I've envisioned. :)

I am actually thinking about printing out my avatar and getting it into a button or something. I like my avatar, but I will not grow a white beard and wear a red pointy hat just to accomodate people's image of me :)

I got some t-shirts laying here that will get my avatar all over them :)

And if S'mon is reading, I'd like to publicly congratulate him on running a game with 14 ENWorlders in it last year :D

Thanks Tallarn - as you know I've been down w flu, just recently recovered! I'll definitely try to make Gencon for at least a day or two this time - no more 1am games though, eh Krusty...

Re: Re: GenConUK

On me running another game - if you'll be coming to Gencon and would like to take part in a game hosted by me, email me at simontmn@ntlworld.com and let me know. I'll need to cap the numbers, probably at ca 6-10 players (depending on what scenario I settle on), on a first-come first served basis (aside from reserving places for my regular players, of course...) :)
At this stage I'm also open to suggestions on the kind of game you'd like - D&D presumably (although I also have d20 Traveller & Slaine) - levels, setting, other ideas?

Hi Simon! :)

Oh c'mon you loved that zombie game...and by all accounts the solitary underground journey home during the graveyard shift! :D

My vote goes for D&D, low level, all new characters.

In fact, if you want some help rolling up low level characters, I can do that for you. I can turn up at GenCon with 6-10, say, 5th level characters?

In fact, maybe I should do some more than that, so that we can pick and choose a little when the game starts.

Thanks, but I think I'll bring my own pregens! That way I can tie in their backgrounds to the world & scenario.
