I've become a fan of the clamshell sets.

The first one that I picked up was for PCC - Pinball Crawl Classics.

The most recent one that I backed is for Castle Whiterock -which has options for both DCC and D&D 5E.

It looks like my face to face game group is going to shift from our current modern xfiles ish Cypher system game to a straight Dungeon Crawl Classics one.

I love the gonzo fantasy feel of a ton of DCC modules and have gotten a lot for possible use in other systems but I have not played the DCC system itself.

I have a bit of an issue, I do not like the idea of funnels and high lethality, I generally want to play pulpy characters who explore and interact and fight and continue throughout the campaign, not play disposable doomed characters and constantly be at risk of actually dying...

Ran across a 3rd party setting book for the system, wasn't interested and it didn't look great. I'd run Dying Earth or Lankhmar if I was going to do something like that. But got me wondering if there are any non Goodman games materials I should check out to supplement the core book?

I scored a physical copy of MCC from Goodman at RPG Con in Massachusetts, for just $10. I think it is time to run it.

They did the same at Gen Con last year. You could get a softcover of any ruleset for $10.

I haven't tried Fantasy Grounds yet, but I'm looking into options for online play, so I'm interested in seeing what others think of various platforms.

I've used Roll20 for D&D, but haven't yet tried DCC on a virtual tabletop.

Goodman Games has added a DCC Tarot Deck as an add-on option for the Whiterock Backerkit Campaign. It's cool to see a company trying different things. In a recent YouTube video, they had mentioned working on ways to incorporate the deck into a future adventure. Even without that, the artwork is cool:
