or
A bazaar exist near the High District.

Looking at it again, I think the operative statement is:

• Not far from the Red Dragon Inn, in the direction of the center of Orussus, is a large bazaar.

Per your map, that places it on the edge of the High District. So, I'll yield to the map and amend my words in the Recompilation thread.

Couple Quick Questions,

I remember some discussion about allowing LA races into LEW in the event of retirement of a character. I think the final decision was yea.

Discussion also went round about what the level penalty was for retirement with regards to the level or LA of the new character brought in.

Was it decided that the loss was 1 level? If so then one could bring in a LA+1 race after a 2nd level character was retired?

Last question...what races are acceptable? I remember once someone directed me to the rules thread but there is no complete list there. It mentions a few, say 1/2 drow, mountain goblin etc. However, I currently play an orc but they aren't listed there and the recent spread sheet list a kobold and some other races that are not "on the books" so to speak.

So, is it any LA+1 race or what?

Additionally, will someone please make a complete list of acceptable races for play in LEW, including the LA races if possible. I don't want to spend time ogling races and fantasizing over possibilities for future operations in vein.

Races in the SRD are acceptable, of course

any race which lists character stats in the SRD is acceptable, I believe. Yes, you only lose 1 level if you retire a PC. But that means the PC would have to be 3rd level to be retired and get a 1st level LA+1 race.

Any created races are listed in the Rules thread. Otherwise, any race listed in the SRD as playable is acceptable, (Including Pixie, Drow, Lizardman, Celestial templated, etc)
