I am tempted to sign up as a judge if you'd have me. I don't know yet how much of a time commitment that would be, so I'd like to start with only one adventure if that is alright (Bront's). I know that it is up to a judge to read and weigh in on any complications, to assume leadership if a DM disappears and the game is dying. Anything else I'm missing?

Not sure. I offered to judge once, and got handed the Tavern (Kegger in Orussis!). I think the other judges need to approve you, but I'd vouge for you as a judge though, and assuming that's ok, it'd help me out tremendously with Rheim.

So, Di Renaldo is the highest level character at 6, followed by about half a dozen or so at 5?

Out of curiosity, was there ever any IC reason for the lack of high level adventurers in Orrusus? Given the legend of the RDI has spread far and wide, it has obviously been in operation for a number of decades at least.

What do people consider to be high level? I tend to think of 7 or 8+ as high level characters, but I rarely play much into the double figure levels.

Maybe there are high level characters out there, but they've all become corrupt and are out there somewhere waiting patiently to fight your characters. :uhoh: ;)

Teens and later is high level in my personal opinion. My pen and paper group tends to play a single group of characters for a long time before retiring them. Barring some disaster, like a player moving out of state, campaigns seem to end between about level 16 and about level 24.

I tend to think of anything over 8-10 as high. My f2f group is reaching the highest I have ever taken a group - 10th. I tend to start many new campaigns as ideas pop in my head, or Malhavoc has a new book to playtest.

That's Rinaldo DiSensio...

If you want the exact ortograph, it is: Rinaldo di Senzio . The di is never written Di. But that's just how I decided it.

High level campaign, I've always seen it form 10+. My tabel top games have reach level 13 once or twice, but never I've reach a higher level, and all game in PbP who has started at higher level than 1 have died after a few months (if not a few days), so in PbP, my oldest characters are Rinaldo di Senzio (level 6 Rogue who started 1st) and Sielwoodan (a Ranger5/Sorcerer1 who started 1st too).

I've DMed mostly, and my campaigns typically ended somewhere around 15-18. I did have one get to 21, though.

Rurik's 5th level now, can I get a judge to look him over and make sure I didn't cheese the leveling?

Thanks.
E-mail the character judges (Nimisgod and Knight Otu). Their addresses are one of the stickied threads.
