It was all calculated and posted monthly, with a breakdown of the bits. There is a copy in the first post (with the exception of May's XP). He was, is actually leading the other 1st levelers, which wouldn't make the pill any more easy to swallow.

No, I don't mean it was calculated unfairly. I just meant 911 XP might be considered a subtle jab for leaving for health issues, just like I guess 69 XP could be construed as a subtle jab for leaving due to girlfriend or boyfriend issues--I have relatives who read crazy things into nothing, so I have to be wary about stuff like this :uhoh:

Too subtle for me. I had to think about it for a while, even after you explained :( I am a dog of very small brain.

And commiseration's on your relatives. That would drive me to ... um, distraction.

I honestly don't see any problem into giving XP as a Roleplay rewards for his 'I go without the other notice cause I don't want to speak about my reason'... after, he has roleplayed it. And roleplay reward have a lot of subjective decision from the DM...

No worries :)

They can be a pain, but we sometimes like to make fun of them--"Oops, we forgot to send out a birthday card so it would make it on time. Since it will be a day late, obviously that's because we like all the other relatives more than them" :D

With Erekose13 on board, I'm sure he will look at them.

By the way, Bront, before you leave, take a look at your mails.
Replied :)

Good thing Erekros13. Got your e-mail, replied, if you want, go nuts, they're heading south. If not, I'll just start on monday or tuesday after I get back.

Internet kinda spotty here, I get a stray wireless signal from a sigular spot in the house.

Someone brought this up in a thread somewhere recently, but I realise that with more judges added on, this could become increasingly likely--what happens if three judges vote YES and then later three judges vote NO. What about vice versa? Or can this not happen? Even though I disagree with him on several of them, I like how Patlin has come into threads and voted a definitive NO instead of saying nothing, even when everyone else has already voted YES, but we aren't seeing that as often these days--it seems like once there are one or two YES votes, the judges who don't agree just kinda don't vote and wait to see if it will be 'pocket vetoed'.

The way I handled it was to look at what happened first - Approval or veto (not that we had many vetos - we should keep the word no in mind better). I think there should be a grace period, where a proposal with three yes votes can be turned the other way, of 24 hours.

In related news, Bront has agreed to sell his soul for a judge position.

Leash it, bind it, glue it to space-time! And then get a stapler to fix it some more.

Sorry, my experience with these things is that they're quite and randomly jumpy.

Bront, how could you? Seems like everyone is becoming a Judge these days :D The only multiple-game GMs now who aren't that I know of are me and doghead

With this many people, I would suggest a big e-mail announcement to all judges as soon as those 24 hour grace periods start. Otherwise, since 3 is such a minority of the judges now, you may find that the 3 people who really love or really despise the idea have created policy before the other 2/3rds of the judges could vote the other way ;)

EDIT: D'oh, who could forget Velmont and his giant tournament o' games? :D
