Welcome back Venus. The old party has split up but we're still around.

Hi there Steve, and thanks. I noticed I have a lot of reading up to do to see what you've all been up to the last year :).

Venus, I'm glad you're back. Aren't persistant worlds awesome! And considering how flexible time is in LEW, we should get going again. I'll admit to loving Irene, and missing her. She was so much fun to DM. Let's get started right where we left off. See if you can dig up the M2.5 - Irene Alone, its your turn to post. We'll finish that up, I'll assign XPs, and Irene can return to the Inn. I haven't used Jezibel since, but I'd like to do so again, so wrapping up that adventure is important. Of course, I probably won't give Irene full XP credit for time spent adventuring....

Hey Manz, indeed LEW has some wicked design (and playerbase) that it allows breaks of 1 year without too much trouble (though I guess it helped Irene was at the end of an adventure, and alone at that).
She's indeed been one of my favorite characters ever (maybe even THE favorite), and I guess that sparked my return to continue her story. She really fleshed out better than anything I've produced so far, and that in only 2 adventures! So not too shabby.
I'm awaiting confirmation from Nimisgod on the level-up (as I added the xp after the last adventure in the main thread and reached level 4), but after that I'll indeed up the M2.5 post - Hell, I'll give it a minor kick already, as I expect my levelup to be correct (KO already sent his confirmation, with some small mistakes that have been adjusted).

I agree, DR and SR can be moved down to say the saves area. Promoting the CP is a good thing. Not sure why you want to seperate out the level increases, I usually would put +1 lvl next to the point buy info for a stat.

Personally, I would rather see the XP and wealth logs done by adventure. It seems to make more sense to me, and tends to emphasis the characters story rather than just being a summary of crunchy bits.

Range could be added to the weapon section.

I think total bonuses (for skills, saves) should be either the first column, or added to the descriptor. I find it oddd to hang them off the end.

Bront's advancement notes seems quite clear. I would put them at the bottom of the character sheet rather than within it in order to keep clutter to a minimum. They are not really necessary for day to day play.

my two cents

Yup, that's what I do.

All the numbers you want are at the end on the standard sheet, in every column, hense why they are that way for saves.

Range would be nice on the sheet. I usually add it in () after the weapon, but that works too.

I would simply add a section under attributes for modifiers (magical modifiers can be harder to track otherwise).

Welcome back Venus. Finally, we will know the faith of Irene. I hope to cross your character at sometimes... that if our group get out of this damn prison.

This was another adventure that got off to a good start, but self-destructed before any sort of resolution could be reached. We did get some data on places in Orussus, though:

  • Not far from the Red Dragon Inn, in the direction of the center of Orussus, is a large bazaar. On the far side is Jamaris’s Jewelry. The shop is small, with a back door leading to a private area, glass counters with jewelry, and a glass podium with many locks and latches in the center of the shop.
  • The glass podium in Jamasris Jewelry has 5 latches and 5 locks.
  • The small door in the back of Jamaris Jewelry leads to Jamaris’s workshop.
  • Although there is a large bazaar in Orussus, merchants are scattered throughout the city.
  • There are at least 3 dwarven smiths in Orussus: Rurik Drewer, just a few doors down from the Red Dragon Inn past Edwyd’s Victuals, Ingus Stonebender, a well-known smith and merchant at the opposite end of the Street of Merchants from the Red Dragon Inn, and Traubon Mithrilaxe, known for work in exotic materials, at the eastern end of Orussus.

That will be usefull for my Orussus thread, but I try to figure how to integrate it. Hard to describe a map like that... Well, I've attached a rough map of Orussus, as I see it. I'll place the Bazaar east of the RDI, next to the river (usefull to carry stock from the harbor to the bazaar). What do you think of that (and by teh way, how people find this very rough map of Orussus).

The road to Fallon is on the other side of the river Roars.

I believe Orussis is entirely on the north side of the river, with the bridge across to the south being almost at one of the gates.

Many reference have been made through adventures that have let supposed otherwise. Also, thinking of it, it is natural that people want to be as near as possible to a water source, so it would make senses. Would that make a big problem that the river flow throught the city like that?

I've corrected Fallon road on the map.
