No problem. My guess is that you'll have to wait on the good aligned 5 player party, though I'd love to play in your game, there aren't too many of us at the moment.Manzanita said:OK. I freely admit to being lame lately. I finally did get into my email, but didn't stay in long enough to read the email bront sent me, among others. I do have an adventure planned out and approved, but I'm happy not to start it quite yet. I was actually hoping for a good -aligned party, of whom not more than 2 had been in my Monemvassia series, and all being Level 5+. Not to mention being balanced. I was going to recruit OOC, as well, giving my hooks to those PCs whose players had volunteered them.
In any case, Rystil, please recruit & clear out the Inn. More PCs will trail in for me, & by then, I ought to be ready for them.
I'll still get to your email Bront!
Hey - when's GenCon next year?
I've been aging as the adventures have had me age. I added 2 years for my last adventure.El Jefe said:I've been adding a year to each of my character's ages on the R/L anniversary of their creation (first post in the Character Thread).
If I accumulate all the duration of my adventures, I am still in teh first year of adventure, but I have always assume there was time that have pass between adventure, ctaching up the real time. So If in Real Time, an adventure have taken 6 month, but in game time, it took 2 weeks, I assumed my character have spend over 5 month on other things, like his business.SlagMortar said:I think all my character's have been adventuring for at most a couple of months in game time. Nars has been on 3 adventures, but none were more than 3 days travel from Orussus. Beamer was in Dance of Souls for around a month I think and only in his current adventure for a couple of days. Planus is on his 3rd adventure, but the first was aborted 1 day's travel from Orussus, the next covered maybe two weeks including travel, and his current was at most a week or two travel plus a couple of days adventuring.
They are all 4th level though so they must learn fast!
Interesting--what happens if the adventure takes more game time than real time?Velmont said:If I accumulate all the duration of my adventures, I am still in teh first year of adventure, but I have always assume there was time that have pass between adventure, ctaching up the real time. jkason said:Is there any LEW rule in regards to character aging? The SRD lists penalties / bouses for age categories, but so far as I can tell, offers no mechanic for determining the rate at which characters age (e.g. reconciling real time with game time, changing age as a function of levelling, etc.).
If I missed this somewhere, my apologies for the redundancy.
thanks,
jason
