New foods and drinks? I have a suggestion for Kyle, if he can get to Covington in the next couple of days... ;)

And if not, there's always next year!
Now now, Halina's Bottomless Keg only works on a few occasions. He's probably already well versed in Beer Battered Beef Bits.

MMMM Beer Battered Beef Bits - four of Kyle's favourite food groups ;)

How do I get to Covington then?
By the time you get there, the festival would be over.

There is an elf named Falander who will be heading north from the festival, at least as far as the bridge over the river Roars and maybe as far as Orussus. If he doesn't sell out his stock, he might have a few Jellywine Rolls left.

Mmmm, elven Jellywine Rolls.

I've update my atlas post based on events in the Faerie Woods coming to a close. It should now be clear how powerfull (but limited) the NPC in charge of that tiny area is. He can be used by an adventure seed by othe GMs, though it would proably take another 40 or 50 years for pcs to level up enough to oppose him directly. :)

That's a really cool post in the atlas section, thanks!

If the PC's ever get in-game knowledge of all that, I guess the next question would be, "Of all the places in the world you could escape to, why the plaza in front of the RDI?"

There are in and out of character reasons.

The necklace had been established to have the ability to teleport its wearer back and forth between the Faerie Woods and Orussus. The Fey Lord, desiring to escape his prison and not really caring where he arrived wished to use the necklace to get out of the Faerie Woods. He is able to detect thoughts at will, and so while he hasn't been to Orussus he has had many opportunities to see memories of the place, and memories of important landmarks are frequently sharp. The Red Dragon Inn, as an important landmark, was an easy place for him to target... also, it gave me the opportunity to post in the RDI thread, and I thought it would add to the consistency of the world if things happening in one thread had some repercussions in another.

Just you wait 'till the first telepath gets Correspondence. That's when the cross-thread posting will really start :D
