Had questions about what can be brewed as a potion. Could spells that only target yourself (shield / lead blades) be allowed for potion brewing?

Tyrion was looking to buy those two potions

I think the Targets line has to be one or more creatures or objects. I don't think 'Targets: you' or 'Targets: touch' are valid for potions. Neither spell is listed under the potion lists in GameMastery Guide or Ultimate Equipment.

DM credits question

So as the title says, a question on dm credits, to make sure I understand right.

one dm credit = 1/6 of what it takes to advance a level and the same for the gold gained, right?

so if I had 1.7 dm credits it would be the afore mentioned xp and gp times 1.7?

No. 1 DMC = 30 days of TXP and TBG for your current level. Sometimes it works out that you need 6 DMCs to level, sometimes it is 7. And DMCs can only be spent in whole increments.

Edit: Scott, you have 9.94 DMCs. So, that will get you about 1.5 levels, or you could start a third character by spending 6 of those DMCs.

How the heck did I get 9.x dmc's? was that game in my hands THAT long? I thought you should have gotten most of those! I will probably level up H. and will rp it out in the Mystic Pearl.

Yep. You had 142 days of running the Rodents game. I had only filled in for the last 28.

difference/89= days (7286/89=82 days = 3 months) ; 8010 xp

72*90=6480 gp

official math correction: need 1043 more xp, so using 4 dmc's: addtl 2670 xp and 2160 gp

Yes. Spending 3 DMCs adds 8,010 XP and 6,480 GP for Heinrich and brings him up to 50,724 XP and 9th level. A good spot for wizards.
