Yeah, small characters on mounts are around and can go on dungeon crawls without much difficulty.

But I want to play a human Cavalier riding something that flies.

Actually, if we do assemble a party geared more for mostly outdoor adventures, then it would go well with the Scout I am trying out. I am considering to retire/replace Borric after we are done.

Aradra would be interested. Who need political intrigue when you have the untamed wild?

This has my wheels turning... I might come up with a dwarf cleric or gnome ninja or some such. Gnome or dwarf paladin?

If it matters to you, Charity is technically a paladin and likely to make level 2 soon. Not that I'm vying to be the only one playing the class, by any stretch.

Those distribution numbers look about right compared to the PFS games I used to manage. Clerics are rare, but are in high demand. If there is a cleric in the party, the party can usually be treated as APL+1 for planning what you can throw at it. When mustering 4-5 tables of the same scenario, we would split up the available clerics first, then seat everyone else.

Bards are next on the list of desirable, but rare. Group buffing goes a long way, and they can negotiate their way through social encounters in many ways.

New players try rogues, ninjas and monks, but find they don't get to be that effective with them. Few parties plan to sneak up on something as a party, and sticking a single character out on point doesn't turn out well either.

As for races, it is often 'human' for the extra feat, or 'something with darkvision' that has stats optimal for the class.

Perhaps I still just find it strange people avoid clerics. As a completely anecdotal reference, everything I currently play heals in one way or another (half clerics, half something else).

Then again, I know people that in years of play have never run a game themselves. I find that odd as well.

We did have a barbarian/oracle at one point, but he retired at level 4. I'm considering making a gnome cleric that specializes in non-combat support or a dwarven oracle that focuses on battle. It's about time I made a second character.

That would be Ausk, and he made it all the way to 7th before being retired, just enough to get rage prophet. He was fun, but the personality that I had developed for him just didn't work with the pbp format, and it took a long time for the synergy between the two classes to really kick in. He'll probably pop up as an NPC if I ever find time to DM again.

On the wiki, Barrow of the Forgotten King is listed as "Borrow [sic] of the Fogotten [sic] King". Any particular reason for that, or can I fix it?
