ZEITGEIST General tips for running Zeitgeist?

After a discussion in Mondays game. Make clear to your players at the start of the campaign the standard D+D Cosmology (Outer planes, Inner planes, astral etc) either does not exist or is not accessible. My players are veterans of D+D campaigns with different gm's but the same basic cosmology for at least 30 years this means they have assumptions about how things work and they do not work that way in this campaign and it is IMPORTANT at the end and useful to understand elsewhere. If I had made this clear and not fudged it at the start of the campaign it would have made things clearer for my players and misconceptions and bad ideas based around the assumptions about cosmology could have been avoided.
