Divinity OS 1 and 2.I think i want to get really acquainted with Rivellon before Divinity comes out. Which Divinity games are worth playing all the way through? I plan on definitely doing D:OS2, but should I D:OS1? What about the older games?
Both Divinity Original Sin games have a lot to recommend them, I spent a lot of hours playing them. However, they're also pretty big, dense games whose combats tend to run very long at later levels and with each of them I found myself getting fatigued later in the game. I'm not sure I actually ever finished either of them, despite multiple playthroughs.I think i want to get really acquainted with Rivellon before Divinity comes out. Consider me one of the oddballs who preferred MOO1 to MOO2. I haven't played either in a number of years (mostly because I know if I do all my time will be forfeit) so maybe my view would shift, but at the time I felt MOO2 got too fiddly for not enough extra benefit.Master of Orion 2 is another one that never got a proper sequel or spiritual successor. Everything I've seen (especially the official sequels) that's tried to be has had either used spacelanes, had a dodgy and/or realtime combat system, or had a bad interface
This game has some of the absolutely funniest moments in a video game I've ever seen.I own it and just haven't gotten to it. Not least because I kind of don't enjoy depressing entertainment and I am worried it is going to be that.
