Ok, I'm bored and I got to thinking...there are some good games out there that manage to successfully meld 2 or more genres into a single package. Shadowrun combines cyberpunk and fantasy, Deadlands combos fantasy with westerns, Paranoia melds comedy with sci-fi...
But there are a lot of genres out there that have yet to have a successful cross-genre game designed for them- a void we should not let stand!
So, I start this thread to archive combos that haven't been seen yet (at least not on a large scale), possibly to stimulate the designers out there.
Murder Mystery + Lovecraftian Horror = Call of Cluethulhu
CCG + Gambling = Texas Hold 'Em Pokermon
Far future Giant Robot Anime + Urban Street life = GammaPimp3000 (or MechPlaya)
