D&D 5E Gestalt multiclassing, how's the balance of this proposal

I'm interested to see where vertical power can go. So let's take a Rogue/Sorcerer. By level 6 I have booming blade and twin haste. Putting 1 of those hastes on me allows allows offturn sneak attacks.

Am I missing anything?

I will say that I've spent over a decade trying to make this exact system work in 3.PF and I never landed it. Level Adjustment and Bloodline Levels are just bad mechanics and you can't use bad mechanics to fix bad mechanics.

Tipsy Tabby's Overhauling Multiclassing is a good start in the right direction, combining PF's Variant Multiclassing with the Gestalt rules, but I don't think it costs enough for what you get-- especially if your primary class is a full spellcaster. It still got me closer to what I wanted for two bucks than I ever got myself.

I can't remember which version I actually tested out, but I retired it eventually. I decided that the only real missing hole for me in 5e is the balanced fighter/mage. Eldritch Knight and Bladesinger are both playable, but they are each too far to one end and not balanced enough. Instead I created a Warrior-Mage class that combines elements of the Fighter and Wizard classes without all their features and benefits. As it ended up as a full-caster, I used Bladesinger (with some Valor Bard observations) as the mechanical balance to see how the numbers work. So far one has been played at levels 3-5 for dozens of sessions and seems to be working out fairly well.
