Gnomes vs. Halflings

Nice! If that was a gnome pun instead of a halfling pun in the last panel, I'd probably get that strip on a T-shirt. (Thereby earning myself a bonus of Nerd +3.)

It seems to me that Gnomes are more nerdy than halflings. However, if the t-shirt in the comic said "Gnome" on it, the joke wouldn't work--"half"ling vs. "whole."

So what would a Gnome-themed t-shirt say?
