I saw on the WotC link of the 3.5 MM pics. I noticed in the picture of the 3 devils what looked like an Ice Devil from 1e. Is this true? If so list some of the interesting stats as well as it's CR rating. Thanks

Yes, the Ice Devil is back but in reality it is a Gelugon with its original name back.

Stats, hmmm, let's see

Large Outsider (Baatezu, Evil, Extraplanar, Lawful)
DR 10/good
Fear Aura (DC increased to 22)
Regeneration (bypassed by good aligned weapons/spells)
CR is still 13

Otherwise it is quite similar to the 3.0 Gelugon

Lots off additions and no more Polymorph Self. Very cool. Never was into the whole Rangers-turning-into-monsters thing.

Not exactly.

"Spells and Caster Level: Levels in the hierophant prestige class, even though they do not advance in spell progression in the character's base class, still stack with the character's base spellcasting levels to determine caster level."

In other words unchanged from 3.0

Read/post me the stuff on specialist wizards please. Specifically, can you or can you NOT choose Divination as a prohibited school?

Here's the relevant paragraph,

"The wizard must choose whether to specialize and, if she does so, chooses her speciality at 1st level. At this time, she must also give up two other schools of magic (unless she choose to specialize in divination; see below), which becomes her prohibited schools. For instance, if she chooses to specialize in conjuration, she might decide to give up enchantment and necromancy, or evocation and transmutation. A wizard can never give up divination to flfill this requirement. "

Seems pretty clear to me.
