Getting invited to The Damnation Army

How does one get invited to join The Damnation Army forums? Any members here who can help out a fellow malcontent not interested in stirring up trouble there?

A current member has to invite you. The invites are not easy to get.
It seems they also have periods of open registration; at least their Forum Rules references this.

Seems like an interesting place

They did have one when it reopened. It's possible they will do it again.

I will not speak negative or positive about the site. I will say this Gruff is doing what he can to support this site and CM. We should all thank him for his efforts.

Perhaps I am speaking too quickly but this sounds like a frat thing or special clubs. I don't fit well within the normal structure of these cliches and thus my "oh yeah..." attitude to it.

Then why threadcrap in this thread, if it isn't something you're interested in?

In general, posting something negative in an otherwise positive thread isn't worth the time it takes. It just derails the thread and starts unneeded arguments.

Can you tell that we're trying to discourage this lately? :)

I appreciate the answers so far and I will wait for an open enrollment as it is hard to get invited when you aren't sure who is in.

To me it isn't really like a secret club, more like a place that you can speak freely, which would understandably need to keep from allowing everyone in as there are a lot of hypersensitive people who thrive on the drama of stirring the pot.

Have you tried http://www.circvsmaximvs.com/ ?

Some members there are also members of DA.
