Getting reviews

Have you tried gaming conventions? Run a few sessions. Ask people for feedback.

It's not going to get you deep, detailed reviews. And there's probably going to be a skew towards people not wanting to be mean. But it's a start. And you might find a couple people willing to follow up with an Amazon review.

Whatever happened to Endzeitgheist? I remember him being extremely prolific of 3pp stuff and I bought more than one product because he rated it highly.

I have written and posted a review on the DM's Guild for every module I've run.

But guess what? I'm running stuff I've written most of the time (Baldur's Gate II isn't going up on the DMG but the rest is there or will be there). I've only run one thing not written by me in the last 2.5 years.
When one of my players goes to boot camp in a few weeks, I might run some more DMG stuff, or I may take a break from DMing. We'll be down to only 2 players.

Also, I wonder how many people buy modules/adventures to run, versus just to read and mine for encounters & ideas? I wouldn't feel super comfortable reviewing a module until I've had a chance to run it and determine whether or not it's actually fun in play.
