GF9's new Dungeons & Dragons Game Mats

My Kings Road map is already laminated, and probably one of my most used maps. If I didn't have that already I probably would buy that one.

I'd buy the paper maps and laminate them at a store. Cheaper that way, and you get more maps. I was hoping these would be all new art...this will save me money.

The maps look great but I don't like the fact that they are vinyl, rather than laminated. Being able to use dry-erase markers over wet-erase ones is one of the big pluses I think the Paizo Flip-Mats have.

So I won't be buying the GF9 ones. If they were laminated rather than vinyl I would consider it.

Look nice, but the wet erase instead of the dry erase kills it for me. Dry erase is so much easier and neater to use. I have used both and dry erase was by far superior. Also, as mentioned above, being one sided at $20 is not that great of a deal.

Yikes, $20 for very limited use maps? No spank you! Not all inns, nor all roads, look the same. Unless of course every single one of your group's combats takes place in the same bar or on the same stretch of road.

Really disappointed - I am also a sucker for maps, have money burning a hole in my pocket but... I have both of these laminated already!
I worry that sales will be disappointing because any self respecting map geek already has these, and then we won't see any new ones:-(((

On the other hand, if you don't have these maps - I've used them over and over again. Here's your chance to get 'em.

how much!!!

IOTWW was a freebie in the 4th ed version of Hommlett

the kings road is really dull, and been released elsewhere....at least releasse complex one you cant draw in 5 minutes

will these sell sufficeintly??

Yeah, I think I'll stick with Paizo's mats - which are cheaper ($12.99), larger (24x30), double-sided, and you can use wet-erase, dry-erase, and "permanent" markers.
