[GG] A Game of Gods (IC, Reborn)

OOC: Why do I think it as Ironic that Janos posts under another name that has Black Mage as an Avatar????

IC: Yalla, what I forgot to ask, which cave are you going? (This is important because I need to know if get caught.) You can pick goblins, orc or ogres.

[OoC: Ehm, Ogres. They seem the strongest and would be the best guardians for a possible entrance. I'll let the others know which cave I'm exploring.]

OOC: Okay, map coming this afternoon, also, since you didn't say anything I'll presume you only Hide & MS and go along auntil you have found out everything that is needed to know, or get caught.

[OoC: Of course if Yalla finds something VERY interesting she might take a different course of action, but untill then, she indeeds MS/Hide.]

OOC: And After making the map I throw for our Friend Yalla Checks and promptly roll a '1' for Hide.

IC: (Hide: 1 fail, MS: 14+Yalla moves away from his group of companions and sneaks towards the Caave of the Ogres, surprisingly enough there aren't any Gaurds in the first 20 feet of the Cave, The First 20 feet is a straight halleway that ends in a big open space that Holds some crude furnitures and three cages with bugbears in it there are 4 ogres visible from where Yalla stands. While Yalla is noticing all this when a roper spots him and attacks him with it's strands. (13, 6, 5, 18, 10, 14 = 6 Hits) and he is drawn closer to a gaping maw that has suddenly formed itself in a stalactite 15 feet away. The Ogres notice this, and look up from the conversation the were having, when they spot Yalla, they laugh at him, and line up their chairs so they can see Yalla being weakened and Eaten.

OOC: I didn't use the Roper's weakness attacks, because a roper is purely evil and intelligent (12) so I figured he enjoys toying with his prey.

[OoC: my AC is 18 at all points [Uncanny Dodge] so I'll assume you already counted that.]

Yalla, frightened by the attacks, tumbles away from the attacker. Then she activates her wand of invisibility and sneaks out.

OOC: Yes I know I'm weak, I just dislike new characters after every two days, hehehe. And Yalla, you cannot Tumble away, because the strands have attached themselves to you, you can cleave them into with a dagger/sword, Break them with a strength check or do an escape artist check. You'll have to perform checks foor all of theb starnds seperatly and if even one of it is still attached you will be drawn closer. Better figure something else out, and don't shun the basics...

[OoC: BOARD ATE MY POST =[ ]

IC:

Yalla, feeling her body in a very nasty position, tries to get out of the strands. Using her very agile body, she tries to monouvre free.

[OoC: Escape Artist checks]

OOC: Sorry I've been MIA, folks. School got out last week, and I took a trip down to Syracuse with a friend, and just got back online last night. I'd meant to drop a note saying I'd be gone on Friday, but the school servers oh-so-conveniently went down, so... anyway, back to the game.

Timothy - is there any way that anyone outside of the cave could see what's going on in there? You said she's gone twenty feet in, but I'm not sure whether the Roper is ahead or behind her, nor whether the mouth of the cave is open enough we could see in. If we can't see anything, how about noise? 'Cause I'm flying scout, I'd assume I'm making Spot/Listen checks on a pretty regular basis.
