Giants of Legend - Disappointing

First Post
I just looked over the Giants of Legend set list at Merric's Site and I noticed that there are no new iconic figures. No Hennet, Soveliss, Alhandra, or Gimble. We do get remakes of Redgar, and Lidda (so what). Speaking as a minor collector just after the iconic figures and a few must-haves, this set looks disappointing.

My "Must-Haves" -- Mordenkainen the Mage and the Treant.

Not entirely true. While I'm not sure about Aramil (he looks like a distant cousin of Devis), Eberk is one of the second line iconics - the characters from the original design sketches that made it into the PHB in the Characters chapter. The others I can remember from them (that actually had names) are Kerwyn the human rogue and Naul the human wizard.

While I don´t mind a new Lidda I dislike Regdar. Another fighter-type with armor and genric weapon, yawn. I look at my minis and I see four Regdars from Dragoneye, five Men-at-Arms and other generic warrior types like the Soldier of Cormyr (at least that one has something going for him because he has a background). Instead of that I´d like to see Warriors with unusal weapons (Spiked Chain, Dire Flail, Kukris), unusal races (Troll fighter in armor and armed with a big ass sword :) ) or at least something more original (a Swashbucker, magic weapons like a flaming sword, tattoos, scars).

Yeah Soth will be great.
I am sad though, when I first heard this set was coming out I was really wishing for a big bad ass Tiamat. Man I want that one.
Maybe someday :\

I'm sure there will a set titled "Deities and Demi-gods" some time in the near future... That or Planar Incursions.
