Gifts for the Gamer in your life?

Yes, this is a comPLETEly selfish thread because my own birthday is Monday.

So looking for ideas (to help people) in finding/choosing "Gamer/Gaming appropriate" gifts.

What's the "coolest" RPG-related thing or favorite gaming-related gift you've received?

Any/all suggestions welcome.

These are always very shiny But which one to pick. Anyone tried any of them? Arkham, Descent and Runewars are entertaining.

A good third of my books were given to me as gifts so were a lot of my dice.

On the rare occasions when I've been given a RPG-themed gift, it was nearly always a gift card for a store that sells gaming goods. The few exceptions to that have been from fellow gamers, usually minis or a good boardgame.

And that's what I tend to give if giving a gaming gift.

Personally though, if I had the money, I'd develop a holographic computer table that could sit up to eight people. Imagine that chess scene with R2 and Chewbacca but instead of chess imagine it for D&D or other role playing games.

Of course the downfall is you'd have to move to another table to have something to drink or snack on.
