With the topic finally falling to the second page, I think it is safe to declare a winner. By fortuitous and cunning, by charm and grace, by a goatee and a song, the winner by seven votes is.... Oooh, a Bohemian Rhapsody spoof. Well that's original. And it's so very difficult to make up words to a song whose words are basically gibberish to begin with.

Not to mention only a gnome would write a song that only works if you have three illusionary heads spinning around you and singing back-up.

Serve me up a big plate of unimpressed, with a side of *yawn*.

Gimble, shmimble. Loose the soul-patch, shorty. Bards aren't put on this Oerth to enthrall the masses of NPCs, they are put on this earth to amuse their fellow adventurers!

If you are the iconic Suckiest Class Evar, then it follows that you have to have *some* value in the dungeon other than . . . anything actually valuable. Devis, as the iconic example of what to bring to the table, is amusing (sometimes in the "wow, that was clever" way, and sometimes in the "Los Angelino utter self-absorption" way.)

I just don't see it happening with Gimble. He just looks smug in a stupid "I'm sure I'm hip so what's your problem?" kind of way.

You know, like a house music DJ. Funny (as in ha-ha point and laugh), until you have to *live* with him, then it's time to stock up on garbage bags and a band-saw, because you're dumping a body in the nearest National Park.

Now Devis is amusing:

I've been a bard since day one, and have stood behind Mialee, Alhandra, Vadania, Naull, Ember, Lidda, and other beautiful women of adventure.

This is why I love Devis.

Not so fast. Devis is back in the lead by 9. Then again does it realy matter who is less worthless than who. Both of them should get a real job instead of being a riunner up fighter, runner up Rogue, Runner up Cleric, and Runner up Sorcerer.
