Gimble's a fraud!

There is something I find very bothersome about Gimble, his intrument.
There is no medieval stringed instrument with six strings except for the acoustic guitar, which had not been perfected yet and played horribly along with being rather bulky to carry around.
Let's ignore taht and say that Gimble has a special made six string lute.
But then the head stock is all wrong. All the tuners are on the same side. This design doesnt' work well on accoustics, that's why almost no accoustic guitars have it.
Then on top of that look at the proportional thickness of the instrument. It's only a couple of inches thick, but accoustic instruments need to be about a foot to a foot and a half thick except for banjos, which only have 5 strings and do not have all their tuners on the same side of the headstock. On top of that the body of the instrument is the wrong shape for a banjo.
Add all this up and you've left with gimble holding an electric guitar.
That doesn't make any sense.

Yes, WotC must keep issuing "Gimble-ish" revisions until all of the races & class combinations can be equally represented. I can't wait until they have the psionic cat psychopath/orange avenger/barbarian in the spells section.
