Girl dies after kiss from boyfriend

This exact same method of delivery is why I don't eat strawberries. I love them, but my wife is highly allergic to them in the "Help, I can't breathe" way. And, since her smooches are sweeter than any berry, I just don't eat them on any day when I might see her.

Don't confuse "how long until the reaction starts" with "after it starts, how long do we struggle to keep you alive". The story says she was kissed on the weekend, and died days afterwards - she was probably in the hospital for all those days, on the verge of death.

I have life-threatening allergies. (I once had an allergic reaction with a 4-hour delay on onset that kept me home for days, breathing like a drowning man.)

My dad's an allergist. (He's had patients go into the ER on Friday and die on Monday.)

We both believe this story.

Not to be entirely insensitive. I believe this story, as well, as I've got friends and one family member (who particularly suffers from four very common allergins) and I think it is terribly sad. Almost as terribly sad (note: almost), the fact that Anna Paquin will forever be the Rogue most audiences know. I think she's a horrible actress, a terrible job at the gorgeous Rogue accent and personality, and.. I'm sure no one cares, 'cause she's apparently cute or something. But come on, how can you beat Ultimate Rogue on cuteness?

Which is almost as terribly sad as how most X-fans don't recall the 1980s origins of rogue, or the Beast without blue fur...
