Okay, you may have sold me on picking it up. So what are all the supplemental Munchkin games for? I thought I remember seeing a ton of different boxes. Do they change the rules or add different themes or what? Do I need a bunch of different box sets to have fun or is the original enough?
There are both supplements to the original Munchkin (e.g., Munchkin 2: Unnatural Axe) and standalone Munckin Variants for other genres (e.g., Munchkin Cthulhu). There were also some Munchkin RPG books (which, IMO, were a fun read but otherwise useless) and there is a Munchkin boardgame (Munchkin Quest). Munchkin is really The Business of Steve Jackson Games at the moment.
