Hmmm. A few things.

1. Welcome to the boards!

2. We discourage reposting detailed material that isn't OGL or in the SRD. No one's probably going to kick up a fuss over this one monster, but it's good to keep in mind.

3. Saying "please" goes a long way.

There are Githzerai stats in the 3.0 PsiHB, in Manual of the Planes, and in the 3.5 MM.

They are an offshoot of the original race of humans that were enslaved by the Illithids and later freed by the warrior queen, Gith.

After she led her people free, there was a political split between her followers and the followers of Zerthimon. (Someone correct me if I'm wrong).

The followers of Gith came to the Astral plane and became the Githyanki. The followers of Zerthimon came to the plane of Limbo and became the Githzerai. Both groups hate each other and of course they both hate Illithids. Both races are psionic and powerful.

Little known fact that I just made up:

The Githzerai make the finest cheeses in the known planes. This is due to the unpredictable effects of Limbo's pure Chaos on the process of fermentation; the Gith cheesemaking process involves repeatedly exposing the milk (of a variety of extraplanar animals, including Celestial, Fiendish, and other templated varieties) to Limbo's natural Chaos, and then to the stabalizing influences of the great Gith monasteries. (Gith cheesemaking is a primarily monastic craft.)

By nature, the results are somewhat unpredicatable, but the Gith cheesemakers have classified thousands of types of cheese. many of the more expensive Gith cheese varieties have magical effects on the eater. (Treat as potions; any Githzerai spellcaster with the Brew potion feat can define the effects of the feat as cheesemaking, with no real mechanical impact.)

EDIT - just to keep this on topic, this is the Githzerai translation of the original slaad recipe. The original recipe is actually several pages longer, including several pages filled with nothing more than random numbers. The original version also includes slaad meat, which the Githzerai do not eat for religious reasons.
