He's a yuan-ti tainted assassin that uses his Bluff and Disguise skills, combined with his Beguiling Presence, to blend into a community until his masters order him to off someone. I haven't been able to come up with another feat to give him, does anyone have any suggestions?

Suggestions on ways for him to deliver his death attack via a melee touch, (particularly with wands, as he can't fail a UMD check) are also welcome.

wand mastery is nice (eberron I believe). +2 to dc of the spell you are casting from it and +2 to all level based things it does (again, going from memory).

Assuming you meet the prereqs it might work pretty well for you!

Failing that, craft wand itself might not be a bad plan later on, but you cant use that slot for it..hmm..

Magical attunement (again eberron, if I was home I could help more :( ) might be another good option, better attack and damage, good to get those attacks in and have them actually hit!

The Psionic Deep Impact feat (available in the SRD) will get you your meelee touch attack with your weapon - but it will take you three feats to pull it off (Wild Talent, so you have some PP's and can take Psionic Feats; Psionic Weapon, as a prerequiste for Psionic Deep Impact; and of course, Psionic Deep Impact itself).

You might try Scibe Scroll - I don't have access to the Warlock's details, but if I recall correctly, they get this nifty ability to make magic items that they don't have the spells to craft, and it might just get you access to every spell in the book (at the cost of some time and XP, but still....) for your own personal use.

I have three suggestions, though only two are feats (and you may not care for any of them).

1) Since the DC of a death attack is so hard to make high enought, I recommend ability focus (death attack) as a feat. That +2 to the DC will be helpful.

2) One of the tactical feats from Complete Warrior gives you a +2 bonus on attacks if you study your opponent for a round, for a total of +6 after three rounds. This feat sounds like it was made for the assassin. (BTW, I'm not sure if I have the details exactly right since I don't have the book with me right now).

3) Not a feat, but the lucky special ability on your weapon (from XPH) lets you reroll one attack/day. It's only a +1 enhancement, and it can really help an assassin, since one attack/day is usually what you need to be successful on.

Regarding 1, I did make sure to take Ability Focus ASAP(level 9). I like the idea of 2, but unfortunately, the open feat slot is at level 3, and that's too early for tactical feats. I will look into it for level 12, though. I will look into the lucky quality, as anything that conserves my True Strikes is a good thing.

I think at this point the two strongest contenders are probably Weapon Finesse and Improved Init(thanks asmo, forgot about II). If only there was a feat or ability that let me have a ranged death attack -- even at close range, the ability to Eldritch Blast a death attack would rock, and would mean the assassin could walk into an area unarmed and still kill someone.

Now, if I have a wand of Inflict Light Wounds/Chill Touch, technically, that's an attack that deals damage, right? So Death Attack would go off, and I would only have to make a touch attack?

My bad, I totally missed that when I skimmed the character.

I don't think you will find a feat to let you do this, but I'm pretty sure there is a 4th level assassin spell in CAdv that lets you make a ranged death attack.

My other piece of advice is to look into the Fatespinner PrC. While not an obvious choice for assassins, you can qualify for it after 7 levels of assassin and seal fate will make your Death Attack DC really high. Not to mention you can force a reroll if they make it. The down side is that you waste one level of spellcasting progression. Anyway, just my thoughts.

If he's a yuan-ti tainted guy how does he still get the bonus feat for being a human? Of is it a template sort of thing?

Your dagger damage should be 1d4-1 (2d6 Sneak Attack) due to the 8 STR

I would go with
Snakeblood, Imp Initiative
Weapon Finesse
Extra Invocation
Ability Focus

If you do no need Snake blood, then maybe TWF or Quickdraw might help if you want to throw your daggers.
