D&D 5E Giving Classes an Additional Saving Throw? (+)

Out of curiosity, if you were to give each class proficiency in one more saving throw, what save would you give each class? Why would you give the class that save?

Below are the classes from the PHB and their current saving throws:

Barbarian (STR / CON)
Bard (DEX / CHA)
Cleric (WIS / CHA)
Druid (INT / WIS)
Fighter (STR / CON)
Monk (STR / DEX)
Paladin (WIS / CHA)
Ranger (STR / DEX)
Rogue (DEX / INT)
Sorcerer (CON / CHA)
Warlock (WIS / CHA)
Wizard (INT / WIS)

Thanks for any input! Please note the premise of this thread is that you would, in fact, give out another saving throw proficiency! ;)

I think Monks should get all saves at 5th level, but other than that I would not give out more. Characters can take the resilient feat if they want more save proficiencies. Also the Paladin ability at 6th level is better than proficiency and the War Mage subclass feature is almost as good.

Not really what I asked about, but ok.

Not taking into account common vs uncommon saves I would go:

Barbarian (STR / CON) + DEX
Bard (DEX / CHA) + INT
Cleric (WIS / CHA) + CON
Druid (INT / WIS) + DEX
Fighter (STR / CON) + DEX
Monk (STR / DEX) + WIS
Paladin (WIS / CHA) + STR
Ranger (STR / DEX) + WIS
Rogue (DEX / INT) + CHA
Sorcerer (CON / CHA) + no idea, maybe by subclass?
Warlock (WIS / CHA) + INT
Wizard (INT / WIS) + CHA

So the question is should the third save be one of the ones that actually come up, or CHA, INT or STR? I'd say the former and go this way:

Barbarian (STR / CON / WIS)
Bard (DEX / CHA / WIS)
Cleric (WIS / CHA / FORT)
Druid (INT / WIS / DEX)
Fighter (STR / CON / DEX)
Monk (STR / DEX / CON)
Paladin (WIS / CHA / CON)
Ranger (STR / DEX / WIS)
Rogue (DEX / INT / WIS)
Sorcerer (CON / CHA / WIS)
Warlock (WIS / CHA / CON)
Wizard (INT / WIS) [doesn't deserve any buffs]

I would start off with giving ALL classes a +1 to ALL saves at levels 5 11 and 17 (the same as cantrip level) but only classes not monsters.
Then I would give fighter and monk the equivalent of Bards Jack of all trades but only for saves (half prof anything you are not prof in.
I remember when fighters were THE BEST saves, and I remember when monks had THE BEST saves.

Each class eh... From the start. I would give some 2 more and others none

Barbarian (STR / CON) with DEX or WIS from Feral Instinct
Bard (DEX / CHA)
Cleric (WIS / CHA)
Druid (INT / WIS)
Fighter (STR / CON) with DEX or WIS from Combat Prowess
Monk (STR / DEX) with CON from Purity of body and ALL from Diamond Body
Paladin (WIS / CHA)
Ranger (STR / DEX) with CON or WIS from Natural Terrain
Rogue (DEX / INT) with STR or CHA from Scoundrel and WIS from Slippery Mind
Sorcerer (CON / CHA)
Warlock (WIS / CHA)
Wizard (INT / WIS)

If i had to do one of each then @DeviousQuail has alist that would look like mine.

I would use the opportunity to reinforce the classic minimum requisites for some of the classes with several of those.

Like the Bard with INT. The Monk with WIS.

Not taking into account common vs uncommon saves I would go:

Barbarian (STR / CON) + DEX
Bard (DEX / CHA) + INT
Cleric (WIS / CHA) + CON
Druid (INT / WIS) + DEX
Fighter (STR / CON) + DEX
Monk (STR / DEX) + WIS
Paladin (WIS / CHA) + STR
Ranger (STR / DEX) + WIS
Rogue (DEX / INT) + CHA
Sorcerer (CON / CHA) + no idea, maybe by subclass?
Warlock (WIS / CHA) + INT
Wizard (INT / WIS) + CHA
I forgot to say why I would make these picks.
Barbarian: They kinda already get Dex saves from other features so stop beating around the bush and give it to them.
Bard: Int feels appropriate for a class that is supposed to be a jack of all trades. That and they get a bunch of illusion spells so they should be good at recognizing them.
Cleric: didn't really like anything else for them except maybe Int but then they'd be the same as warlock and wizard.
Druid: gotta keep your balance walking through the untamed wilds.
Fighter: Every fighter is going to be Dex or Str focused so let the saves reflect that.
Monk: Wis is an easy pick here.
Paladin: Str is a requirement for multiclassing but I could see Con here as well.
Ranger: Just like monk this was easy.
Rogue: I chose Cha but more because the other three don't feel great.
Sorcerer: I think sticking a third save in each subclass isn't the worst idea. Just didn't really love anything beyond Con and Cha for a class that is so open ended in interpretation.
Warlock: A lot of arguments for making them Int over Cha anyway so it feels strong.
Wizard: Cha more for the ability to withstand Cha focused magics like Banishment, Charm, etc.

I would probably go with something like:

Barbarian (STR / CON) DEX
Bard (DEX / CHA) INT
Cleric (WIS / CHA) STR
Druid (INT / WIS) CHA
Fighter (STR / CON) WIS
Monk (STR / DEX) WIS
Paladin (WIS / CHA) STR
Ranger (STR / DEX) CON
Rogue (DEX / INT) CON (would be WIS, but that would require altering the Slippery Mind feature)
Sorcerer (CON / CHA) INT
Warlock (WIS / CHA) INT
Wizard (INT / WIS) CHA

The logic behind it being that full casters (plus paladins) gain an additional weak save, while other classes would get a bonus strong save.
