Despite the start of the "Quinn is pregnant" storyline, this is one of my favorite episodes. We have the introduction of Mike O'Malley as Burt Hummel, the world's most understanding father, Tina gets to sing (enjouy those moments while you can; they're planning on having another Asian girl on next season), some choice quips (mostly from Sue, although Finn's reaction to libraries is also funny) and of course, the absolutely hilariously "Single Ladies" dance sequence (although it would be even funnier if the football players actually sung "Single Ladies").
The playlist (not as much music, but it's quality that matters right?):
Kurt, Tina, and Brittany (did anyone else think she seemed smarter in this episode than in her subsequent apppearances), and later the football team dance to "Single Ladies" by Beyonce
Rachel sings "Taking Chances", originally performed by Platinum Weird*
Tina sings "Tonight", from West Side Story
I'm really glad the pregnancy storylines are finally over.
*Platinum Weird was a Spinal Tap type outfit created by Dave Stewart of the Eurythmics and Kara DiGardio. According to the mythology, "Taking Chances" was supposed to be a big hit for Platinum Weird in 1974. It was a real hit for Celine Dion.
