Global finder (Not urgent, but still please!)

For about the past year, I've had www.enworld.org as my homepage, but all of that has changed, for somereason, it now comes up as global-finder an annoying seaech page. I've deleted files, cokies temporary files, used adware deleters, nothing seems to affect it. Nothing. Perhaps a total wiping of my hard drive? But still I don't want to have to do that.

Can some one help me!

I get enworld, but it's not that enworld comes up as gobal finder, it's that global finder sets it's self up as my homepage. I did the history thing from the internet option and clared them temp files and cookies and wiped the spy/adware in one go.

Have you checked to make sure EN World is still set as your homepage and the address is correct?

It's possible it got changed some how.

In your explorer Tool drop down menu go to Internet Options under the General Tab check what you home page is set to, better yet click use current.

I might have misphrased this; I set enworld as my homepage(using the tools:Internet option:general thing) when I get home the home page is global finder and it says in the home page box it says about:blank

If updating it does not work, you MAY have a virus or worm, there are commands to reset your home page, scan for one and take action.

I really don't want to say re-load your browser but you may have too.

Ferrut, me bucko, have ye run add-aware an' keel-hauled the Kazaa Lubber before it could haul off with yer booty? Kazaa Lite seems like a corsair-friendly alternative ta me.
