Does a globe take down spells that have already been cast on a subject?

If I have hold person cast on me, and then I cast (somehow) lesser globe of invulerability, does the hold person go away?

"Spells of 4th level and higher are not affected by the globe, nor are spells already in effect when the globe is cast."
