Reborn again actually

In 2000 the Hero Wars Rules were released along with several supplements over the past couple of years.

The new HEROQUEST system is a refined version of Hero Wars.

Personally I love the game..it's very rules light and very fun because as a player you pick and name abilities skills, magic items, etc for your character using a narrative process. Some peopl don't like the lack of concrete definitions for everything, but IMO it makes for a much more interesting story and there are lots of cool suprises for everyone involved, not just the players.

At any rate, I'm very much looking forward to the re-vamp as there were a few quirks within the original system.

Everytime I see "Glorantha", I get the theme to the old cartoon "Ducktales" in my head. (Glorantha having talking, biped ducks like in that show).

Anyway, it's something that I really really don't get. But if it were released as a d20 game, I would get it just for the Ducks.
