Weel Naxel, human cleric

Weel finds himself entirely unable to speak after the display of the succubi, stumbling rather feebly after his fellows as they move to the urn. He listens as well as his slowly-returning senses can manage, but once again has to rely on his companions to provide the necessary details. He manages to suppress a sigh of relief as the others make mention of how they intend to pay; once again, the novice hadn't the experience to realize such proof might be necessary.

"By all appearances Master Thanas appeared quite well. He sends his regards. Naturally, we had the letter tucked away for safe keeping," Octavio comments as he starts digging through his pack. "Aha! Here it is." Octavio will present the letter to Umraecyl.

"Excellent! I'm delighted to hear of his continued good fortune. Very well, this letter appears to be in order. Was there anything else you wished to examine, or further questions?" Umraecyl's voice is as cheery as ever, but while reading the letter, his mask of cheerful politeness slips for a moment, showing a flash of frustration and annoyance.

Weel looks to his companions, to see if any of them notices the change in demeanor. "Well, I know I've seen enough wonderful things on this visit for several fascinating tales. I've no more questions, at least, though I wouldn't presume to speak for the others," he says cheerfully.

Umraecyl escorts you to the door, making polite small talk as he goes. As you prepare to leave, he smiles, once again the engaging host. "Please feel welcome to return with questions at any time during your stay. I will leave word with my staff that you are important customers, and unless I am with another customer, they will show you to me at any time. No need for an appointment. Thank you, and have a pleasant..."

He cuts off suddenly, mid-sentence, and his friendly smile changes to a worried frown. "I'm sorry, my friends, I must go at once. A disturbance in the market square."

Though it is only few hundred feet away, you cannot see the square from here, since you are behind Umraecyl's walls, but as Umraecyl hurries away with long strides, you do hear voices yelling angrily from that direction.
