Actually, that isn't a bad idea. I get the feeling that some kind of newsletter or site journal wouldn't be amiss either.

Also, for the PbP section, is there anyway of setting up an online grid system, so that DMs and PCs can actually see where they are on the map? Set that up with and IM system, and you can set up a full speed gaming session from your computer.

Unfortunately the forums we are currently setup on don't have that kind of power. For what I think most of us want to see and have we're goign to have write something specilized to handle it all. I'm going to try and look through the RPOL.net source code sometime this next week if things calm down a bit and see what they have done and what we could...erm...borrow, yeah borrow.

Works amazingly well for me, especially with indoor maps, where you need to put vertical and horizontal lines to depict walls.

Personally I make most of my maps in MS Paint using a grid I made in Excell

This is a sample of what I just whipped up in about 2 minutes

Just a little something to think about, if your really don't like dash and slash maps for PbP.
