GOD RULES: Player's Guide (5e) Kickstarter Pre-Launch Page

That all sounds awesome! Putting mechanics to fiction is literally my favorite pass time in the hobby.

Well that was always the plan Micah!

Now in fairness there may be a few characters from fiction in the Divine Ranks 31-42 categories that I am not covering in this book primarily for space reasons but also because they are meta-characters that would be (unironically) more powerful than the Games Master themselves. But if pushed I think the system can stat those as well.

Dragonball was, at least once I gave it my full attention, extremely simple to map out the whole Verse in terms of power. I can easily see Marvel Comics, DC Comics, One Punch Man also being incredibly simple to map.

Other Verses I'll need to familiarize myself with first but I think once I outline the first few anyone with a decent knowledge of any Verse will be able to plot all the points for themselves.

One interesting Verse I am still on the fence about is Lovecraft's cosmic horror. I still think it makes sense putting the Outer Gods as 5d beings (essentially in the Far Realm). But I am sure some people will make the excuse they are 10d beings in the Outerverse...and while maybe they are, I think people are too quick to stick everything in the Outerverse at the first sign of a hyperbolic 'its beyond time and space' - which in my opinion means 5d or better.

Given that my dimensions are not necessarily spatial but rather states of consciousness (albeit the fourth is still thematically linked to time) something can have infinite spatial dimensions or beyond spatial dimensions and they still fit into the basic framework.

Sounds amazing! Not a huge fan of DragonBall myself, but looking forward to the other 'Verse's.

Was there any Verse in particular you were interested in?

I know a few others have mention One Piece and TT Gurenn Lagaan.

Evangelion is an interesting take on Arch Angels.

I like Chainsaw Man, very interesting Devil designs.

Solo Levelling certainly needs more investigation.
